Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:
">We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new vendors, negotiating lead times, and ensuring the highest level of supply chain efficiency.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and select new vendors based on competitiveness factors such as cost, quality, on-time delivery, and service levels.">
- Regularly review vendor pool to ensure that vendors remain relevant to meet business expectations and requirements.">
- Reinforce supply chain efficiency through specialized commodity teams by providing expertise in selecting, growing, and optimizing approved vendor pool.">
- Conduct price analysis and negotiate lead times within vendor pool to ensure and improve price competitiveness, lead time, and on-time delivery.">
- Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, work plans, and performance requirements.">
- Support the procurement process by generating system reports and collating database information.">
- Ensure all procurement activities follow established purchasing guidelines and maintain proper documentation.">
- Ensure adherence to contractually agreed specifications and standards, including accreditation/class bodies.">
Requirements & Qualifications:
">Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electronics), Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
">Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sourcing or procurement experience in the mechanical or electronics industry. Fresh graduates with relevant academic background may also be considered.
">Skills: Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Demonstrated integrity and impartiality in vendor evaluation and selection.
