About This Opportunity

As a key contributor to our development team, you will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to design, develop, test, and deploy robust system and network infrastructure solutions. Our client is a vital partner in the Defence Sector, contributing significantly to Singapore's defence and security innovations.

The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development skills and software engineering principles, as well as experience in CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and build/release automation. Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++ is required. Hands-on experience with frameworks like Node.js, React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Express, FastAPI is also necessary. Additionally, expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases like MSSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL is expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to achieve project goals.
  • Design and manage reusable components to streamline development.
  • Anticipate technical needs and deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.
  • Lead system software design, development, testing, and debugging.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review code and system architecture, enforcing high development standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years in software development, including 2 years in Agile environments and at least one full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong full-stack development and software engineering principles.
  • Skilled in CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and build/release automation.
  • Proficient in one or more languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++.
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Node.js, React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Express, FastAPI.
  • Experienced with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
