We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Facilities Manager to join our team at Royal Plaza.

About the Role

As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing day-to-day housekeeping operations in designated areas.

Ensure the hotel is clean, comfortable, safe, and well-maintained for guests by coordinating with relevant departments to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily Work Assignments: Direct and oversee daily work assignments for supervisory and non-supervisory staff to ensure seamless housekeeping operations.
  • Identify Training Needs: Assess training needs within the department and implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance.
  • Maintain Employee Relations: Establish and maintain effective employee relations by fostering open communication, providing constructive feedback, and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist with Personnel Matters: Assist with interviewing, evaluating, and counseling staff as needed.
  • Ensure Good Communication: Maintain good communication and teamwork between departments to ensure a cohesive approach to guest services.
  • Inspect Hotel Facilities: Regularly inspect guestrooms, suites, public areas, and F&B outlets to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep.
  • Act as Assistant Executive Housekeeper: Provide support to the Executive Housekeeper in their absence, ensuring continuity of services and maintaining high standards.
  • Handle Guest Requests: Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Plan Spring Cleaning and Maintenance: Coordinate spring cleaning, maintenance requisitions, and staff rosters to ensure a seamless transition from one season to another.
  • Monitor Inventory: Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and provide accurate reports to management.
  • Implement Security Procedures: Implement and monitor security, lost and found, and emergency procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: Minimum O-levels or diploma from a recognized hotel institution.
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a housekeeping supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Self-driven, proactive individual with a positive attitude, strong leadership and organizational skills, detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, people-oriented with a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
