Beauty Therapist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced beauty therapist to join our team. As a beauty therapist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of beauty services to clients including hair and scalp treatments, makeup applications, and nail care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality beauty services to clients including shampooing, cutting, styling, and coloring hair, as well as massaging and treating scalps.
  • Offer personalized makeup applications, perform facials, and recommend skincare therapies.
  • Perform manicures and pedicures, nail art, and color recommendations.
  • Administer permanent and temporary hair removal treatments such as electrolysis, laser hair removal, and waxing.
  • Suggest guidelines on personal skincare regimes.
  • Cross-sell beauty therapies and products.
  • Make appointments and document treatments.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile workstation and tools.
  • Take stock and ensure adequate supplies.
  • Ensure that all treatments are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Possess strong creative skills and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have steady and dexterous hands.
  • Be able to work on weekends and public holidays.
