Clinical Lead Physician

Methodist Welfare Services seeks a skilled Clinical Lead Physician to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced physician who can provide clinical leadership and guidance to our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient care, quality improvement, and medical education.
Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Lead Physician, you will be responsible for:
- Providing independent clinical assessment of patients and developing individualized plans of care with the multidisciplinary team;
- Offering medical advice to junior physicians and nurses;
- Performing clinical procedures as needed for patient care;
- Chairing and leading multi-disciplinary meetings to facilitate care planning;
- Supporting cross-centre collaboration programs;
- Writing medical reports, memos, referrals, and administrative forms when necessary;
- Providing after-hours phone call advice to Home Care and Home Hospice patients/caregivers and conducting home visits as required.
Quality Improvement:
You will participate in and initiate Quality Improvement and audit projects undertaken by our team, ensuring adherence to standard protocols for medical practice.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Singapore Medical Council;
- Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC);
- Relevant post-housemanship work experience in internal medicine, geriatric, palliative medicine, or equivalent;
- Applicants with relevant postgraduate qualifications and at least 5 years of relevant post-housemanship experience may be considered for a Senior role;
- Flexibility to travel for duties including house visits.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
