NDT Assistant Engineer Job Description

This role is responsible for conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on aircraft components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of NDT principles and methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and standardize equipment to conduct NDT inspections.
  • Process parts, interpret results, and document findings.
  • Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
  • Develop work procedures and instructions from process specifications or standards.
Requirements:
  • NITEC qualification in Engineering or Diploma In Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Possess NDT Level 2 certification in PT, MT, ET, and UT.
  • At least 2 years experience in NDT inspection for aircraft components.
  • Advantageous to have passed M10 and L11 CAAS papers.
