  • Manufacture and test lasers, sub-assemblies, and components against documented specifications
  • Perform fiber handling, splicing, routing, pig-tailing, operating laser diodes
  • Troubleshoot fiber-based assemblies and laser diode issues
  • Perform fiber-based assembly and optical alignment to specification
  • Incorporate optical, mechanical, and electrical sub-assemblies into systems with test

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering (electrical/electronic/mechanical) and at least 3 years of experience in the related field.   • A minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent is required for this position
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues
