Leadership Position: Grant Processing Head

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and manage a large team of grant processing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the overall performance of grant processing officers, fostering a positive work culture and ensuring individual and team success aligns with organizational objectives.
  • People Development: Build resilience, engagement, and capability within the team through regular check-ins, upskilling initiatives, and coaching.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage end-to-end operations of grant application processing, assessments, and approvals across multiple schemes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Governance: Uphold robust internal controls and ensure all processes adhere to regulatory requirements, policy guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues, improve processing turnaround time, and enhance overall service quality.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and processing metrics through regular reporting and dashboards.
  • Service Recovery and Risk Management: Effectively handle escalations, maintain fairness and integrity in grant processing, and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent in project management.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in grants administration, operational service delivery, with at least 3 years in a leadership or branch management role.
  • Proven track record in leading large operational teams, demonstrating strong people management and teambuilding capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for reporting, analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic, policy-driven environment, with a customer-centric approach.
