Job Title: Prime Mover Driver

EVO LINES (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Prime Mover Driver to join our team. As a Prime Mover Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating prime mover trucks to transport containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers over various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe Operation: Safely operate prime mover trucks to transport containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers securely, ensuring proper securing of cargo and adherence to loading protocols to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
  • Route Planning: Plan and execute efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules, considering factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and delivery deadlines.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on prime mover trucks and associated equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and promptly reporting any mechanical issues or defects for repair.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, trip logs, and other relevant documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any special requirements or instructions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods, addressing customer inquiries or concerns, and representing the company positively in all interactions.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or incidents on the road, including accidents, breakdowns, or adverse weather conditions, taking necessary actions to ensure the safety of cargo, vehicle, and personnel.
Requirements:
  • Weather: Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Construction: Familiarity with construction sites and ability to navigate through them safely.
  • ISO: Knowledge of ISO tankers and ability to handle them securely.
  • Unloading: Ability to unload containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers securely.
  • Vehicles: Familiarity with prime mover trucks and associated equipment.
  • GPS: Ability to use GPS navigation systems.
  • Physically Fit: Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Emergency Response: Ability to respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or incidents on the road.
  • Driving License: Valid Class 3 driving license.
  • Transportation: Experience in transportation and logistics.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and ability to conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service.
