Job Description

Our ideal candidate is a creative and strategic leader who can drive our social marketing efforts in Southeast Asia. As the Country Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading our growth results and blending Duolingo into the region's culture.

You will have limitless opportunities to learn and collaborate with world-class minds while doing work that is both meaningful and fun. You will partner closely with Global Marketing teams to find opportunities and create bold, creative campaigns that resonate with Southeast Asian audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep cultural awareness of Southeast Asia, with a pulse on social trends and what consumers care about now
  • A track record of achieving phenomenal results with bold ideas rather than big budgets
  • Storytelling skills, with the creativity to build compelling narratives that spark conversation
  • 8+ years of consumer or social marketing experience, ideally working with global or regional brands
  • Deep knowledge of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging SEA platforms
  • Hands-on experience in content creation, especially with native social tools
  • Proficient in English with strong writing and communication skills
