Job Description

As a data engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing large-scale data engineering solutions. This includes analyzing and documenting client data requirements to inform project initiatives, streamlining data pipelines, and refining data collection by migrating to more efficient channels.

You will work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless solution deployment and adoption. Your expertise in big data engineering, including experience with Cloudera Data Platform, Python, PySpark, Linux, and ETL tools like Informatica, is essential for this role.

In addition, you will maintain the operational health and service levels of IT solutions, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and collaborate with colleagues to implement systems using Hive, Impala, and Cloudera Data Platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing data engineering jobs in Big Data environment.
  • Expert-level skills in SQL, data modeling, and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with big data engineering using Python, PySpark, Linux, and ETL tools like Informatica.
  • Proficiency in a reporting or visualization tool such as SAP BusinessObjects or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with DevOps deployment and data virtualization tools like Denodo.
