We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a comprehensive research program in the field of plant and food technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for data collection, process modelling, technoeconomic assessment and life cycle analysis of protein production processes. They will also be expected to evaluate different modes of protein-rich biomass and understand the entire supply chain from a food security perspective.
- Good understanding of process modelling, LCA and TEA.
- At least 1 year of experience in food processing related process will be highly valued.
- Experience in software tools such as UniSim/SuperPro Designer/Aspen plus and Gabi (LCA for Experts)/SimaPro.
To be considered for this position, you should have a PhD in Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Industrial Engineering with strong skills in mathematical modelling, process modelling, technoeconomic assessment and life cycle analysis. You should also have experience or interest in using process modelling tools and LCA tools in interdisciplinary work in the sustainability domain.
