Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer and Project Coordinator to join our team at THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interior Design:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and space plan retail pop-out stores, counters, and kiosks.
    • Source materials and coordinate with suppliers and contractors for shop fit-out and renovation.
    • Prepare shop, retail counter, exhibition booth designing, drawings, and cutting lists.
    • Inspect dry-lay materials and follow up on subsequent tasks.
    • Present mood boards, develop layout plans, and create perspective/detailed drawings for retail spaces.
    • Develop graphic design artworks using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • Create themes and plans, including window and in-store displays, signage, and posters.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Manage and coordinate fit-out of local retail shops and counter spaces.
    • Plan and develop master plans, A&A plans, M&E plans, and renovation plans for retail outlets.
    • Prepare and submit renovation plans in accordance with local regulations and specific requirements from landlords.
    • Source fit-out contractors and manage the tender process.
    • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, business partners, landlords, and colleagues from other departments on shop fitting progress.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and supervise, control, and coordinate works accordingly to project plans.
    • Conduct frequent site inspections and meetings to ensure high-quality work from contractors and suppliers.
    • Perform quality checks and proper handovers upon project completion and follow through on outstanding matters/defect items.
    • Advise the Accounts department on progress billing.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or certification in Architecture, Interior Design, Project/Construction Management, or related building construction/M&E studies.
  • At least two years of experience in project management, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Familiarity with Architectural Drawings.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe (CS, Photoshop, Illustrator), Corel, SketchUp, and 3D Max.
  • Familiarity with carpentry, electrical, renovation works, and fit-out works.
  • Creative and interested in changing trends in retail space design.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects.
