Solar Project Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead our solar energy systems installation projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and install solar energy systems that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Plan and oversee onsite installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Act as the primary contact between the company and client during the construction phase.
  • Develop, review, and adjust project work plans as needed to achieve timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Supervise the entire construction process from pre- to post-construction, including handover.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews throughout the project to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement for project processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in solar project management and execution.
  • Proficient in energy modelling software (e.g., PVsyst), AutoCAD, and construction modelling tools.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented, customer-focused, creative, and passionate about renewable energy.
