Classroom Support Associate

Cleanliness and organization are paramount in a childcare setting. As a Classroom Support Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, toilets, common areas, office, reception, and other designated spaces. Your duties will include cleaning floor rugs, art and craft areas, and soft covers. You will also need to clean areas if children soil themselves and clear rubbish from classrooms/office. Additionally, you will assist in the kitchen when needed, prepare simple meals, maintain and stock-take cleaning supplies, and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving around the center.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a childcare setting. You should demonstrate competence in maintaining cleanliness, knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper cleaning techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff are essential. Physical stamina is also required due to the demands of the job. A certificate in Food Handling and Safety is an advantage.
This is a part-time role working 11AM - 7PM. If you have a passion for cleanliness, enjoy working with young children, and possess excellent organizational skills, we would like to hear from you.
