Cloud Computing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing and be able to deploy upgrades and fixes on various platforms.

About the Role:
  • This role is responsible for providing DevSecOps BAU support for applications, focusing on cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Deployment: Utilize cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes across different cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  2. Automation: Develop scripts to automate build, software release, application deployment, and system management processes.
  3. Troubleshooting: Liaise with 3rd party software and cloud vendors to manage and resolve technical incidents and issues.
  4. Vulnerability Management: Conduct automated system level vulnerability security scans, harden system and application platforms.
  5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and process efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in Linux/Windows Systems Administration is essential.
  • Knowledge of configuring DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ is required.
  • Familiarity with container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, and Quay is necessary.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services configuration, including EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3, and Lambda, is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in virtualisation / container technology and setting up continuous integration / continuous deployment processes and tools is desired.
