Job Title: Industrial Automation Specialist

This is a challenging role for an experienced professional who can drive innovation in automated manufacturing.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with automation engineers to leverage technology that improves, streamlines, and automates the manufacturing process.

This role requires excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect and collaborate with teams from other regions of the world to share best practices and global standards definitions.
  • Interface with corporate areas and prepare technical documents, presentations, and reports.
Technology Roadmap Development:
  • Lead discussions on automation OT roadmap innovation and benchmark emerging OT automation technologies.
  • Manage activities related to OT and automation.
  • Execute necessary actions with operating units.
  • Map local and regional vendors to support implementation.
  • Define infrastructure and architecture of networks together with other areas, aiming at segregation between IT and OT networks.
  • Integrate and communicate data between diverse network layers, following cybersecurity protocols.
  • Explore new ways to automate systems.
  • Design and test automation equipment and processes.
  • Support defining wireless OT network and communication protocols for connectivity.
  • Interact with process historians, enabling communications and data for deeper analysis.
  • Interact with different communication protocols (Profibus, OPC UA and DA, Profinet, etc.).
  • Support monitoring projects involving ICS and Industry 4.0 update.
  • Work with industrial and IT teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or 10+ years of Automation Controls work experience required.
  • 8+ years engineering experience in an industrial environment.
  • 5+ years' experience with project management.
  • 5+ years Automation experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage projects for accelerated sites and work closely with squads.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office package, Excel Advanced, Tableau, Power BI.
