Regional Tax Manager

Description:

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the development and implementation of global tax strategies across multiple jurisdictions. This includes shaping cross-border transaction structuring, transfer pricing, and designing efficient investment and tax frameworks to optimize profitability while ensuring compliance with various regional tax regulations.

Your key responsibilities will include managing corporate and indirect tax filings, acting as a trusted advisor to business units, influencing decisions in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and legal, staying ahead of global tax policy developments, assessing risks, and designing proactive responses. You will also champion tax governance, controls, and best practices across the organization.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have 8+ years of experience in taxation/accounting/audit, with at least 3 years in multinational manufacturing or Big Four tax advisory. A deep understanding of Singapore, China, and Taiwan tax regimes, plus global exposure, is essential. You should also possess proven expertise in TP, cross-border funding, and supply chain tax planning, as well as a strong track record in managing tax audits and compliance documentation.

Key skills and qualifications include knowledge of BEPS, Pillar Two, and international tax treaties, ERP system knowledge (Oracle a plus), and CPA or TP certifications. Mandarin proficiency is a must for effective communication with Chinese stakeholders.
