Job Description
PERSOLKELLY Singapore Pte Ltd (Formerly Kelly Services Singapore Pte Ltd) is seeking a skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team.

About the Role
This position involves working on the New Product Introduction (NPI) of battery cells for Power Tools, Outdoor Power Equipment, and Battery Backup Unit. You will be responsible for Line Expansion of Existing power cell models and 4M change of battery cell materials for Value-Add Cost Down or Business Continuity Plan. Additionally, you will participate in Design Review & Standardization for quality improvement and collaborate with QA or Sales for customer requests.

Your Responsibilities
- Perform tasks or projects assigned by your superior, including secondary appointments
- Guide and train new assistant engineers or technicians
- Support quality trouble investigations, including cell performance risks assessment
- Analyze engineering test results
- Collaborate with project groups and formulate action plans, reviewing and reporting progress

Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry
- At least 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, project management skills, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well as a team player while being independent and proactive
- Positive attitude in challenging work environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, JMP, SPC, DOE, Statistics, which are added advantages
- Able to work in clean room and dry room environments (0% humidity)
