Job Description

This role involves the installation and configuration of electrical systems, communication networks, and SCADA systems.

  • Providing technical assistance and oversight for panel installation.
  • Setting up and configuring communication networks.
  • Installing and managing control cables.
  • Configuring relays within switchgear systems.
  • Testing the integration and functionality of systems with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Generator and Switchgear Control Panel (GSCP) systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, OT networking, and electrical systems integration.

  • Proven expertise in Schneider Electric platforms and protocols.
  • Expertise in Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), SCADA, and DDC (Direct Digital Control) controllers for electrical applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical monitoring systems across voltage levels, including protection relays and power quality meters.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (MRP, PRP, HSR, RSTP, OSPF) and network topology design.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting Electrical Single Line Diagrams, network architecture drawings, and system schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMI systems, preferably in railway & transportation segment.

Network Software Knowledge
  • Schneider: Software - Web Browser, Telnet, SSH and console; Hardware - Modicon Ethernet Switch.
  • Hirschmann: Software - Web Browser, Hivision, Hidiscovery, Hiview, Telnet, SSH and console; Hardware - MACH4000, MACH 1030, GRS1042, RSPE30, RSP30, RSP25 and RS30.
  • Prosoft: Software - Prosoft Discovery Service; Hardware - ICX35-HWC and PLX35-NB2.
  • Cisco: Software - Telnet, SSH and console; Hardware - Catalyst.
  • Fortinet: Software - Web Browser, Telnet, SSH and console; Hardware - FortiGate 80C, FortiGate 60F.
