Electrical Engineer - PCB Design

As a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, you will be responsible for creating high-quality PCBs that meet project requirements.

  • Create logical designs from customer-provided information packages and schematics, and develop routing rules to optimize PCB performance.
  • Perform physical layout of PCBs, ensuring efficient parts placement, routing, and trace length adjustment.
  • Develop designs for manufacturability, working closely with PCB suppliers to reduce cost and maximize PCB yield.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop PCBs using Cadence Allegro/Valor and/or PAD Power PCB software.
  • Verify new internal design tools and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Improve design processes to reduce design cycle-time, defects, and improve product performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Diploma holders with a minimum of 5 years relevant PCB design experience will be considered.
  • Significant experience in analog and mixed-signal PCB design, interfacing with PCB fab houses to improve manufacturability.
  • Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python.
  • Working knowledge of logical net-listings, schematics usage, electrical and routing rules creation, signal and power integrity optimization.
  • Experience in designs utilizing blind, buried, and micro vias is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet committed project deadlines.
