Leading Software Architecture Position

This is a senior technical leadership position where you will oversee the development and implementation of software applications.
- Define requirements, timelines, and resource needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Design and architect scalable containerized applications according to service level agreements.
- Lead the migration of existing virtual machine-based software components to containerized platforms.
- Establish and enforce development best practices, including documentation, unit testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment, and security.
- Mentor and manage a small team of offshore developers.
- Oversee integration with messaging platforms, databases, and front-end delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership position.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Oracle DB, SQL, JDBC, REST APIs, WebSocket, SSO, Web cache.
- Familiarity with system design, effort estimation, and architecture in complex enterprise systems.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and leading distributed development teams.
- Excel in communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
It would be beneficial if you have:
- Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes certification.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of container security and compliance practices.
