The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) at NTU was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. Our interdisciplinary research groups work on macromolecular assembly and biomolecular phase separation in actin remodeling, as well as the mechanosensing roles of the cell wall (CW) - plasma membrane (PM) - actin cytoskeleton (AC) continuum.

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our laboratory at SBS, NTU. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with talented individuals from around the world, and contribute to the advancement of biological and biomedical sciences.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular and cell biology, or related fields. Prior research experience in a relevant field is advantageous. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Conduct quantitative protein biochemistry experiments, including protein purification, protein interaction studies, and elucidating protein functions in regulating cytoskeleton assembly
  • Utilize advanced techniques such as single-molecule imaging and super-resolution imaging
