Job Title: Electronics Installation Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Installation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the design and installation of marine electronics and communications equipment/services onboard shipping vessels across Singapore, Asia, and Europe regions.

The Electronics Installation Specialist will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and work closely with the Energy Team, overseeing the implementation/assembly/design/testing of various systems or projects. This will involve carrying out installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting of Navigation, IT, Scada, Communication system and equipment in workshop assembly and onsite.

  • Collaborate with system or project Engineers to support implementation/assembly/design/testing.
  • Conduct installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting of equipment in workshop assembly and onsite.
  • Assist and/or carry out Factory Acceptance Test & Site Acceptance Test with clients.
  • Offer suggestions for necessary improvements and advice on operational procedures.
  • Work with the team to investigate problems and diagnose faults, ensuring equipment works to specifications.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports, documentation, timesheets, service reports as per client format for submission and reporting.
  • Support the Service Department in resolving enquiries, if required.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Able to work under tight schedules and minimum supervision.
  • Available for travel at short notice.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Experience in Telecommunication systems in marine, shipyard, offshore is preferred. Job Title and Grade will commensurate with experience.
