About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance and Resilience Manager to join our team at Standard Chartered Bank. This is a key role that will be responsible for ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory engagements, including bilateral meetings with country regulators and participation in industry-wide initiatives;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective implementation of regulatory requirements and adherence to internal policies and procedures;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, including the Bank of England and Prudential Regulation Authority;
  • Provide regular reporting on key metrics and deliverables related to operational resilience and regulatory compliance;
  • Contribute to the development of business continuity plans and incident response strategies;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in regulatory compliance or operational risk management within the financial services industry;
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operational resilience and risk management;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and regulatory officials;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and non-compliance issues;
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
