We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Fundraising and Community Partnerships Manager to join our team at SPD. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for raising funds to support our cause, working closely with other members of our Community Partnerships Division and Direct Service Programme Heads in planning and implementing fundraising activities. They will also develop proposals for donors that align with our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new engagement with untapped sectors and high net worth individuals to build a pipeline of new prospective donors;
  • Acquire new donors and maintain and grow relationships with them, promptly following up, reporting and opening channels of support;
  • Craft compelling proposals and present existing platforms in an engaging way to interest potential donors;
  • Develop, review and execute engagement plans to generate collaborative opportunities with accounts;
  • Analyse donation landscape, giving trends and donors' needs and expectations, gathering data on prospective donors to develop targeted approaches to cultivate and reach out to new donors;
  • Provide support for collaborative fundraising with corporate partners including giving advice on fundraising and attending events independently;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related discipline;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising/sales and marketing;
  • Self-driven and outgoing with excellent ability to engage at all levels and network with Chinese- and English-speaking communities;
  • High emotional intelligence with good written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence;
  • Adaptable and creative with good presentation skills;
  • Determined and resilient;
  • Highly social team player who enjoys working with and collaborating across functional groups and passionate about engaging people for the disability cause;
  • Professional, with impeccable integrity;

What We Offer
