We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team.

About the Role:

As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing and executing dishes in accordance with our menu standards and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and execute dishes in accordance with our menu standards and quality expectations.
  2. Kitchen Management: Manage a designated area of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
  3. Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting adherence to proper techniques and hygiene practices.
  4. Quality Control: Maintain high levels of kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations.
  5. Innovation and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu offerings and improve existing dishes based on guest feedback.
  6. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the Head Chef.
  7. Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food preparation and storage meet the required safety and hygiene standards.
  8. Teamwork and Service: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to provide timely and high-quality service during busy periods.

Requirements:

  1. Culinary Experience: Proven experience as a culinary leader or senior chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  2. Culinary Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Western cuisine is highly valued, although adaptability to our unique fusion style is essential.
  3. Creativity and Attention to Detail: Passion for creative cooking, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
  4. Pressure Management: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during peak service periods.
  5. Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  6. Flexibility: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
