Job Summary

As a skilled operations leader, you will oversee the daily activities of our kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in inventory management, supplier relationships, and staff training.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock turnover.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure consistent quality food ingredients at competitive prices.
  • Develop and implement efficient scheduling systems to meet operational demands.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members, addressing performance gaps and promoting growth.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
  • Recruit part-time staff to supplement the team during peak periods.
  • Maintain open communication channels with the Store Manager to discuss operational improvements and address concerns.
  • Lead daily team meetings to keep staff informed and motivated.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with food and labor to maintain profitability.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in food service or retail management.
  • A recognized certificate in Food & Beverage Service is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are vital for effective leadership and team collaboration.
  • Strong planning and people management skills are necessary to lead a dynamic team.
  • Team players with excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Flexibility and commitment to shift work, weekends, and public holidays are required.
