Job Summary

This is an IT support group looking for a Data Scientist for Insider Threat Detection to drive the overall analytics development program.

The successful candidate will develop and implement advanced machine learning models to correlate and prioritise alerts from data loss prevention systems, detect anomalies in user behaviour and application usage patterns to identify potential insider threats.

A key responsibility will be to design and develop visualisation and workflow functionalities to support the business and operational units in the review and investigation of suspicious events and incidents.

  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to detect insider threats
  • Design and develop visualisation and workflow functionalities
  • Collaborate with business and operational units to develop use cases and prioritise areas for improvement

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine learning and data mining techniques, specifically on the application of machine learning techniques to detect insider threats.

Additionally, the candidate should have proven experience in leading teams and managing projects, as well as experience working in a financial or banking environment.
