Funeral Care Professional

We're seeking a compassionate and organised Funeral Director to support families through life's difficult moments with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care and Support: Provide comfort, counsel, and a listening ear to bereaved families, offering practical guidance and heartfelt support.
  • Logistical Arrangements: Arrange and oversee the collection and transportation of the deceased with dignity and respect.
  • Rites and Rituals: Guide families through funeral processions, ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to their wishes.
  • Eulogy Presentation: Present the eulogy on behalf of the family on the funeral day, when requested.
  • Aftercare: Assist families with ash collection and related arrangements.
  • Facilities Management: Coordinate and transport flowers, backdrops, and other items needed for wake set-ups.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of service excellence and quality control.
  • Representative Role: Represent the organisation with professionalism, warmth, and empathy at all times.
  • Operational Decision-Making: Make operational decisions and solve problems with a service-first mindset.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using basic computer tools.
  • At least 5–7 years' experience in events or hospitality, with a strong service orientation.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • A steady presence, an empathetic heart, and the ability to stay organised under pressure.
