Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Programme Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior care centre, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating and implementing meaningful day care and rehabilitation programmes for seniors.

Your role will focus on promoting physical, cognitive and social well-being while ensuring a safe and person-centred environment. You will work closely with therapists to deliver rehabilitation activities or cognitive stimulation exercises.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing daily programmes and activities tailored to seniors' needs.
  • Facilitating group activities and providing individualised engagement where necessary.
  • Collaborating with therapists to deliver rehabilitation activities or cognitive stimulation exercises.

In addition, you will:

  • Supervise seniors during activities, meals and rest time to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Provide basic assistance with mobility, toileting, feeding and transfers if needed.
  • Observe and report any changes in seniors' conditions.

Administrative tasks will also be a key part of your role, including:

  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of programme attendance and senior progress.
  • Assisting in collecting data for reports and centre reviews.
  • Participating in care reviews and communicating with family members as directed.

Environmental management is also crucial, involving:

  • Evaluating and maintaining activity areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Managing inventory of programme materials and supplies.
  • Supporting centre-wide events and festive celebrations.

Finally, you will work closely with the centre manager, nurses and volunteers to deliver holistic care, and assist in onboarding and supervision of care executives and volunteers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma in Community Care, Social Work, Psychology or related discipline.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in eldercare, social services or programme coordination (preferred).
  • A passion for working with seniors and commitment to providing quality care.
