Marine Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment onboard vessels during their voyages.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering training sessions in both physical and virtual formats to ensure that personnel are equipped with the necessary skills to operate our equipment effectively.
  • Executing verification checks onboard vessels at ports, terminals, or while at anchor to ensure that all equipment is functioning as expected.
  • Coordinating the delivery and return of equipment between our storage warehouse and vessels within Singapore.
  • Performing software and firmware updates as needed, with training provided by our headquarters in Stavanger, Norway.
  • Providing customer support and guidance to improve equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Joining local sales visits and product showcases as required.
  • Assisting with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in maritime studies or marine and offshore engineering.
  • Preferably with prior experience as a maritime deck cadet.
  • Ability to board vessels at various locations and sail on short voyages.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and reporting capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to contribute and collaborate.
  • Willingsness to travel overseas for training and work-related duties as needed.
