Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with various tasks in our pharmacy environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with receiving, verifying, and processing prescription orders by communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and utilizing strong analytical skills.
  • Measure, package, and label medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain inventory levels, receive and stock deliveries, and track expiration dates to ensure seamless operations.
  • Greet customers, answer basic questions about medications, and direct customers to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Answer phones, type, file, and perform other administrative duties with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate cash registers and complete transactions efficiently and securely.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is clean and organized at all times, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in a related course of study, preferably in a field such as pharmacy technology or healthcare administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Proficient with MS Office and other software applications commonly used in the pharmacy industry.
