Music Project Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Music Project Coordinator to oversee the implementation of our music therapy department's projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for music and project management to join our team.

  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth project execution, including coordinating logistics, managing volunteer engagement, and overseeing budget management.
  • Recruit project participants and volunteers, and manage their engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project budgets and track participant engagement rates.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of music instruments and equipment, and arrange for maintenance/repair as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing English and Chinese Community Inclusive Choirs for People Living with Dementia (PLWD).
  • Recruiting project participants and managing their engagement.
  • Coordinating logistics for sessions, tracking participant information, and managing event logistics.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree holder with knowledge of music and music instruments preferred.
  • At least one year's experience in music-related project management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers, patients, and external vendors.
  • Experience managing volunteers and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
