Marine Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Surveyor to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Marine Surveyor to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a Marine Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting technical inspections and assessments on vessels at sea and in local sites/shipyards.

Your duties will include:

  • Conducting vessel condition assessments and reports;
  • Cargoes inspections and safety audits reports;
  • Working at heights and performing tasks that do not require sea sickness resistance;

You will be required to travel between various ports and shipyards in the region, including TUAS, Pasir Panjang, Harbourfront, and Marina Bay.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of marine surveying.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Diploma in Polytechnic Nautical Studies;
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including 24/7 stand-by;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment;

In addition to your technical skills and qualifications, you should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to think critically and strategically.
