Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct casework, deliver interventions, and develop care plans to support individuals and families.
  • Develop and facilitate group work programs to promote social skills and emotional well-being.
  • Engage with community agencies to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Conduct family interviews and financial assessments to identify needs and develop strategies for support.
  • Manage crisis situations and ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Provide training to staff and stakeholders on social work practices and policies.
  • Participate in professional development courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Perform administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree and/or Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Registration with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) Accreditation Board.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with individuals with mild intellectual disabilities (MID).
  • Patient, team player, and able to co-create content tailored for students/trainees with MID.
  • Passionate, well-organized, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with students, trainees, caregivers, and associates from diverse cultural backgrounds.
