Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Engineer to fill the role of Equipment Installation Specialist.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles and techniques to perform equipment engineering in a manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with customers to ensure proper installations and maintenance of equipment to minimize production delay. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will enable you to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues on semiconductor equipment and systems.
In this role, you will also be responsible for performing on-site installation, continual improvement programmes, parts' overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications, and repair works on equipment. You will serve as liaison on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requires degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with semiconductor equipment knowledge preferred
- Candidate with no related experience will be considered
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, organized, and resourceful team player
- Highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision
- Work in cleanroom environment
- Required to work or be on standby after office hours, weekends, and public holidays
