Housekeeping Runner Job Description

The Housekeeping Runner is a key member of the hotel's housekeeping team responsible for ensuring seamless operations between Food and Beverage (F&B) and Rooms sections. This involves efficient organization and distribution of clean linen and amenities as well as timely completion of guest requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth operations of F&B and Rooms sections by performing tasks in adherence with the code of ethics.
  • Conduct quality checks on clean linen and reject any that does not meet standards for re-processing.
  • Issue clean linen to outlets banquets and spa upon exchange of soiled linen and as per outlet's requisition.
  • Record linen transaction in allocated linen record books highlighting any shortages and reporting to Laundry Manager.
  • Wash and press small linen items such as cocktail napkins tray cloths in-house.
  • Deliver clean linen to Housekeeping pantries and complete any guest requests related to housekeeping.
  • Assist in Rooms operations including hanging curtains and delivering ionizers/air purifiers/air cleaners to room attendants.
  • Participate in Laundry/Uniform Room operations as required.

As a member of the housekeeping and hotel team this role requires service standards and individual performances to be aligned with Accor Values - Guest Passion Trust Sustainable Performance Spirit of Conquest Innovation and Respect. The successful candidate will also follow sustainable procedures and practices that support Accor's Corporate Social Responsibility program.
