Job Description

As a senior chemist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing formulations for cleaners and maintenance chemicals. Your expertise in formulation chemistry and raw materials will enable you to create innovative products that meet the needs of our clients.

You will conduct lab-scale experiments, scale up formulations to pilot and production levels, and select appropriate raw materials based on performance, cost, compatibility, and regulatory criteria. Additionally, you will perform and document product stability/shelf-life, performance, compatibility, and safety testing.

Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for this role. You will work closely with quality control, regulatory, production, sales, and marketing teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development within the hygiene and cleaning industry as well as maintenance, repair, and overhaul industries.
  • Strong knowledge of formulation chemistry and raw materials.
  • Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly product development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
