Pool Safety Supervisor Job Overview

This is a key role within our organization responsible for overseeing the supervision of swimming and other activities in and around the pool area to ensure the safety of members and guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, remain vigilant during emergency conditions, and provide first aid and water rescue when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise swimming and other activities in and around the pool area to guarantee the safety of members and guests.
  • Ensure pool regulations are upheld by assisting with their implementation and enforcement.
  • Stay alert to potential emergencies and be prepared to administer first aid and perform water rescues as required.
  • Collaborate with the Manager on duty planning and administrative tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Candidates without prior lifeguard certification can apply, with training provided.
  • Previous experience or certification in lifeguard duties is beneficial but not essential.
  • Full-time candidates must be willing to work varied shifts and weekends.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Essential skills include Emergency Medical Response, Lifeguard Certification, Water Safety, AED Administration, Interpersonal Skills, First Aid, Water Rescue, and Teamwork.
