Job Description:

The role of the Senior Manager, Global Trade and Technology Management involves overseeing the company's global trade policy and procedure requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of U.S. Government regulations and Singapore export control laws.

Responsibilities include establishing and implementing local operational processes, maintaining relations with relevant leadership teams and authorities, and advising on complex compliance issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in interpreting and applying U.S. sanctions and local import/export regulations.

Additionally, this role involves operational oversight of classification strategy at HSUNPAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company's operations comply with Singapore export control laws and has the authority to stop or hold shipments if there are any concerns pertaining to export controls and/or customs.

Other key responsibilities include supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the internal compliance program within HSUNPAC. This involves deploying and monitoring local operative global trade requirements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • At least 5 years in a Global Trade leading position with experience in interpreting and applying U.S. sanctions and local import/export regulations
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • Dynamic, highly driven, and able to adapt to a fast-paced business environment
