Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Scientist to join our team in developing diagnostic products and supporting data analytics in software development for Medical Devices.

This role is crucial in driving the successful execution of diagnostic products, collaborating with external partners.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in bioinformatics and knowledge of biostatistics. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the latest bioinformatics analysis pipelines for IVD product development.
  • Designing and developing bioinformatics pipelines in multi-omics data such as NGS processing, analysis, and reporting for IVD product development.
  • Providing bioinformatics analysis support for diagnostics assay product development.
  • Providing biostatistics analysis support for clinical study of diagnostics product development.

Candidates must hold a PhD or degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field, emphasizing data analytics and machine learning in biological contexts. They should have 1-3 years of experience in industry settings and proficiency in working languages like Python, R/Matlab. Additionally, they should have good knowledge of workflow languages like Nextflow, Snakemake, and CWL. Biostatistical analysis and AI machine learning experience for biomarker identification and predictive model development is advantageous. Knowledge of statistical software like Minitab, R, SAS/STAT, and SPSS is a plus. Experience with IVD compliance and validation is also beneficial.

This is a full-time position with a mid-senior level seniority. The ideal candidate should have expertise in information technology, specifically in medical devices and healthcare services.
