Electrical Project Coordinator

The role of a Technical Operations Specialist involves assisting the senior technical engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties. This entails inspecting and supervising Contractors' works and tests to meet Approved Drawings and Specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the senior technical engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties
- Inspecting and supervising Contractors' works and tests to meet Approved Drawings and Specifications
- Maintaining quality records of all works, monitoring and reporting on work progress
- Ensuring the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
- Implementing a quality assurance plan in a well-coordinated manner
- Coordinating with Contractors on the execution of works
Requirements include:
- A diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Registration as a Technical Operations Specialist with the relevant accreditation committee
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on large infrastructure projects, power, oil & gas, or waste/water management projects
- Site inspection experience in electrical and instrumentation installations and commissioning
- Analysis capability of rational of EICA installation
- Experience in dealing with EPC contractors and reporting to lead engineers on observations
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
