Job Title:

The position involves hands-on operation and maintenance of 3D printers, ensuring seamless execution of printing tasks. A strong aptitude for problem-solving, technical skills, and effective communication are essential traits for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Maintain 3D Printers: Regularly perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal printer performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and calibrate equipment as needed.
  • Prepare Files for Printing: Slice files, taking into account factors like orientation, supports, and material selection to guarantee successful prints.
  • Post-Process Printed Parts: Cure, sand, and finish printed parts to meet quality standards.
  • Calibrate and Troubleshoot Printers and Equipment: Regular calibration and troubleshooting are necessary to maintain printer performance.
  • Maintain Clean and Organized Workspace: Keep the workspace organized to prevent errors and optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Work with Design/R&D Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance print quality, develop new products, and improve existing ones.
  • Manage Material and Spare Part Inventory: Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Document Procedures and Maintenance Logs: Record procedures and maintenance activities for future reference.
  • Support Internal Teams on 3D Printing Capabilities: Provide training and support to internal teams on 3D printing best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Industrial Design.
  • Experience: Experience working with 3D printing technologies, preferably in a production environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, basic CAD knowledge, familiarity with slicing software (e.g., Cura, PrusaSlicer), excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
