Overview of a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum.

We are seeking a Residential Coach who will be responsible for creating a safe and homely environment for residents, managing household chores, and supporting residents during day and night shift hours.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal and relational skills, as well as knowledge and understanding of autism and housekeeping.

The successful candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations and possess a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment, including preparing simple meals and managing household chores.
  • Support residents during day and night shift hours, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
  • Develop and maintain house rules, ensuring residents are accountable for their duties and providing opportunities for social interactions and community engagement.

As a Residential Coach, you will also be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of common areas, coordinating repairs, and ensuring the overall comfort and security of residents.

Qualifications
  • Min GCE 'O' level or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years working experience in a residential setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of autism.
  • Strong interpersonal and relational skills.
  • Passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum.

Working Arrangements:

The incumbent is required to work on a shift roster which includes weekends and public holidays and a stayover at the residence for 3 days at a stretch. We offer an attractive shift pattern up to 8.5 consecutive days off every three weeks.
