  2. Provide essential support to the Special Needs Educator in delivering personalized and effective education to students with special needs. Assist in classroom management, help students with daily activities, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the lead educator.">
  3. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students by providing emotional support, helping with day-to-day tasks, and managing behavioral challenges. Collaborate with therapists and other staff members to ensure a coordinated approach to student care and learning.">
  4. Work closely with the Special Needs Educator to develop and implement IEPs, adapt learning materials, and monitor student progress. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for students.">
  5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in special education support.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Nitec or above in Special Education, Early Childhood, or a related field. Unrelated fields may also be considered.">
  • Certification in special needs education or early childhood education is a plus.">
  • Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable. Experience in a classroom setting or working in an educational support role is preferred.">
  • Strong organizational skills, patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential.">
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and multitask effectively.">
