Role Description:


At PONDOK ABANG, we are seeking a skilled and energetic Hawker Stall Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our stall operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient stall operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality.


Key Responsibilities:


• Provide top-notch customer service by interacting positively and professionally with customers


• Maintain detailed knowledge of our menu and presentation standards for dishes


• Recommend and suggest orders to customers and upsell whenever possible


• Keep the stall area clean and organized throughout the day


• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed


• Handle cash transactions accurately, including receiving payments, providing change, and processing payments through our point-of-sale system


• Maintain cash register accuracy and reconcile sales at the end of the shift


• Ensure that handover, closing, and opening procedures are completed in each shift


• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned


Requirements:


• Strong cooking skills, especially in Malay/Indonesian cuisine


• Possess a valid WSQ certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene
