Job Overview

The Campus Development Manager plays a crucial role in strategic planning, execution, and management of campus development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop space programs for campus development, buildings, and facilities to support academic, administrative, and student activities.
  • Manage communication and expectations across stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and end-users.
  • Develop and manage master space plans and conduct regular audits.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders on design specifications, space programs, costs, and work schedules.
  • Oversee project briefs, schedules, and implementations of workplace changes, ensuring quality, cost, and deadlines are met.
  • Manage tender calling, evaluation, and award of contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and authority approvals, including fire, safety, and health matters.
  • Monitor and report construction work progress.
  • Conduct regular quality checks during construction periods and collaborate with stakeholders on defect lists prior to handover of SIT buildings.
  • Manage direct contracts and coordinate with stakeholders on moving into SIT buildings.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Building, Estates, or Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of building development, maintenance regulations, laws, and procedures with at least 5 years' experience in building project management.
  • Technical competence in various software programs, such as Microsoft Project and Computer-Aided Design programs.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
