Heavy Machinery Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Heavy Machinery Mechanic to assume a key role within our organization. As a core member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance for machinery, equipment, and forklifts at various sites.

  • Inspect and diagnose issues with heavy machinery, identifying the root cause of problems and implementing effective solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and other scheduled services.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

In addition, you will utilize vehicle diagnostic tools and methods to check equipment, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace by adhering to all safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Nitec in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar qualification.
  • possess at least 1 year of relevant experience in maintaining or servicing heavy machinery or vehicles.
  • hold a valid Class 3 Driving License.
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
