Salary
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Description
As a Quality Engineer at Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for championing quality assurance and testing practices across government agencies, driving impactful change and ensuring the delivery of robust, user-centric solutions. You will work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders, influencing the delivery of solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing QA and Testing processes, best practices, implementing tools, and test automation.
You will be part of the Quality Assurance and Testing team to support the work of our colleagues at the various agencies. This includes defining and maintaining QA and Testing processes, including Test Management, Defects Management, and Code Quality. Additionally, you will coach and mentor Government IT Business Analysts and end-users on QA and testing processes, fostering a culture of quality and excellence within government IT teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in establishing test strategies for systems in agile development environments is required. You must also have profound knowledge of various test types, levels, techniques, methodologies, and test automation, with a strong understanding of test-driven development and continuous integration/delivery principles.
Prior experience in QA Management for system delivery and Certification in Testing and Software Quality Assurance will be highly valued. You should be organized, methodical, and meticulous in planning, management, and execution, with a strong focus on attention to detail and problem-solving. As a team player, you should be self-motivated, proactive, and customer-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
